The 80-year-old Greta had never been very well off and for years now she had trouble making ends meet. She had worked all her life and just about managed to get by now, but when she discovered that her bank balance was suddenly dropping at an alarming rate, she started to fear that she might end up on the street. She discovered that somebody was making daily $100 withdrawals.

One morning, a bank statement caught Greta's eye on her kitchen table. She kept looking at it, feeling her hands get a bit shaky. ‘Could this explain what's happening?’ she wondered. Greta picked it up, eyes scanning for anything unusual. She hoped she was just imagining things, but she knew she had to check those transactions. As she read through, her concern only grew. Something wasn’t right, and it needed fixing. 

Greta's heart practically stopped when she saw it. Every single day, like clockwork, there was a $100 withdrawal. It didn't make sense. She hadn’t been taking that money out! Without wasting another minute, she grabbed her phone. Her fingers shook as she dialed the bank's number. “Hello?” she said. “There’s a problem with my account.” She held her breath, hoping they could quickly solve this strange problem.
