In the back room, Dr. Morgan compared the sample under a microscope and ran it through a database. His eyebrows knitted together as he scrutinized the fur, moving the microscope's lens for a better view. Methodically, he entered details into the computer, waiting for a match. The unusual pattern intrigued him more with every passing moment. “This doesn’t look right,” he murmured to himself, hitting ‘search’ one more time. His eyes scanned the screen, anticipation growing.
